Select the circuit color in which you can climb every problem in one attempt. Attempting 20-30 problems should be your goal, trying at least one on each type of terrain. You have one attempt on each problem. Try to climb every problem of that color in the gym. If you do, but you haven’t reached at least 20 problems, go back and repeat your favorite ones!

Record each climb's terrain and take notes on what was difficult or easy about the problem. Move on to the next boulder quickly.


This circuit is meant to be easy, allowing you to take note of your technique and breathing. Make each move better than the last.

Rest minimally between boulders. After 10 boulders, take a quick break and get a drink, then get back to it.
