Beginning in the yellow circuit, attempt your first boulder problem. If you top the problem, move to a red for your next attempt. Limit yourself to two attempts per problem and continue through the circuit colors, moving up a color after topping a boulder or down a color after two failed attempts.
As the problems become more difficult, increase your rest in between attempts. Travel clockwise through the gym, trying boulder problems on several of the wall sections. Record the color and terrain of each problem, and notes about how each problem felt physically and mentally.
This is a great circuit to use as an assessment of the circuit color that begins to challenge you and can be used to measure progress over multiple weeks.
Try doing this circuit with a partner; you can move together and support one another while overlapping on some boulder problems and separating on others.
