BOULDERING CLASS PHILOSOPHY

Our bouldering class program is intended to provide more focused classes and more variety at no additional cost. Bouldering classes will be one hour and fifteen minutes with a modular content structure. We’ve created a “level” system: BOULDERING 1, BOULDERING 2 & BOULDERING 3 (coming soon). Within each level we’ve created curriculums that cater to that ability level, but could also be applicable for those looking to refine basic skills even at the higher levels. The curriculum you will experience during class will be chosen by the instructor and posted day-of. Our hope is that this creates an incentive to take classes multiple times and learn new, context-appropriate skills each time.

Classes are free with the purchase of a day pass, punch-card, or membership. To attend a class, register online. Classes have a maximum size of 6 students.



BOULDERING ONE: Intro to Body Awareness

You would take this class because you are likely very new to climbing. This class is designed to cover the fundamentals of basic climbing movement and safety. We will cover footwork, body positioning, basic bouldering safety, and basic movement training.

Classes are offered Mondays at 7:15pm and Wednesdays at 5:45pm and Saturdays at 3:15pm. Class runtime: 1hr 15min

BOULDERING TWO: Strength and Body awareness

You would take this class because you are climbing greens, most reds and some blues. This class is designed to be a logical progression from the level 1 classes. We will continue discussing footwork, body positioning, and movement while introducing dynamic movement and basic climbing training.

YOUTH SAFETY INFORMATION

Youth 13 and younger must be directly supervised by an adult at all times.

One adult may not be responsible for more than 2 youth in our main climbing areas & fitness area.

One adult may not be responsible for more than 3 youth in our youth climbing areas.

Before climbing, participants under 18 must have their waiver signed by a parent or legal guardian.

SAVE TIME AND PAPER! Fill out our online waiver before you come to the gym OR download and print the waiver.
All climbers and non-climbers must have a waiver on file before entering the climbing area.
